Happy New Year!

We wish everyone a Very Happy New Year! It happens 1/26 here. Jacob and Lydia really like their New Year clothes.

Looks like a Girl to me!

Well, they couldn't really tell us if it's a boy or a girl, but I got a good look and it looks like a girl to me! We're excited about this new sweet girl. Jacob is excited too- even though he said before we went for the visit, "I hope it's a Ch boy so I can play with him". He's also said we should name the baby "Mack Mackenzie" We're not too sure where that came from. :)
Liz is 17 weeks now and it looks like we're out of the nausea woods. Yea!

Local Friends

We recently had some local friends over for dinner and the kids had a blast with them. :) Liz cooked some yummy food and we had great fellowship.

Special Treats!

We received some chocolate chips and shortening from friends in the US and Liz got to make her wonderful cookies. We were all thankful! :)

A tale of 2 Bicycles on Christmas

Christmas Day was a great day celebrating His Birth. Jacob even got a new bike on Christmas from his grandparents that he loves Very much. He can ride around our complex 2 times by himself! It's got Ultraman on it (an Asian cartoon character) and the bell says "Love Dr Bike"- not sure about that. :) It also has a rear view mirror, a basket on the front, and storage area on the bike.

There was a little sadness/frustration that happened the day after Christmas as we found out my (Jason's) bicycle that I've had for 6 weeks or so was stolen Christmas night out of our apartment complex. There was a safer place to keep it that I didn't know about yet. Bicycles getting stolen is a pretty common deal here, but it was still a bummer. I've gotten a new one that I like a lot better, I'll keep it in that safer place, and I have 2 locks also.
