The Zoo

We all had a wonderful time at the zoo in Thailand. You get to see the animals much more up close than any zoo we had been to before. You could also buy food and feed a lot of the animals. Jacob got to feed some hippos, giraffes, and a jaguar! Lydia was a bit to scared to feed the animals but she enjoyed watching her big brother feed them.

Jacob got better

Toward the very end of our time in northern Thailand Jacob was feeling well enough to get out and do some sight seeing. We got to see the tigers where Jason got to get in the cage and pet the tigers. Jason and Jacob got to ride an elephant and Jacob got to feed the elephant as well, he loved it!

Jacob's illness

We are so thankful for all of you who lifted Jacob and all of us up while he was so sick. We are thankful for his complete healing and that he is now back to normal. This is where he spent a lot of his time (in bed) during the second part of our trip.

Good Eats

In addition to the beach and the sun, we also enjoyed some good food. The fried bananas with powdered sugar were my favorite. The kids liked the coconut ice cream served in a coconut.

The Aquarium

One day while Liz's family was with us we got to take the kids to the aquarium. The kids loved seeing the fish, turtles, sharks, and Jacob even got to pet a starfish.

Fun in the Sun

The kids loved going to the beach to play in the sand. They also loved playing in the swimming pool. They both liked to jump in the water with very little fear.

Family visit in Thailand

We had such a great time in Thailand and it was such a blessing that Liz's family could come and spend some time with us there. We all had so much fun with them and it was so great to get to see them again.
